Description
Form A washers are the standard most commonly used flat washers for use in most applications. A flat washer's main task is to spread the load across a wider area, which comes in particularly useful when dealing with softer materials. Din Standard washers are the European norm and Din 125A is the most popular flat washer product, it is available in an extensive range of materials and hole diameters. A2 stainless steel is often referred to as 304 or 18/8 Stainless. 18/8 actually refers to the amount of chromium and nickel in the alloy – 18% chromium and 8% nickel. A2 (304, 18/8) is an austenitic steel and is non-magnetic. The chromium provides a corrosion and oxidation resistance, however it can tarnish.
